This is the first photo Lara snapped when she arrived, just as temperatures were taking a quick nosedive. It ended up being the one used on the cover of the Desert Dispatch (out of Barstow).

Lara had left a holy railroad spike at the Booth, which I thought I'd recovered on my last visit. But it turned out, I had the wrong item. |
