Oracular Journey
By nightfall, I'd nearly reached Oracle Junction. But I no longer trusted myself. I was tired, the terrain had grown unadvantageously slanted, the road shoulder had narrowed, and I had no light for my bike. Tucson was still about 20 miles away. Tucson would have to be conquered another time.
Time for a tasty meal at McGee's. Charbroiled chicken, real mashed potatos and biscuits. Mmmmmmmm. And if that's not enough, their sign features Tony the Riderless Horse.

One can work up quite a (I almost said healthy) appetite eating Hostess Cupcakes all day.
