Then I went to see Granny, who just turned 100.
And was Granny ever cranky! Well, why not? I'm already cranky, & I'm not a hundred years old. This is last year's photo of Granny with Wagner. She was way too cranky to be photographed this year.
From there it was on to Powell's, where Cupcake works. I didn't buy a single book -- a first for me. (I used to work for an airline, & would fly to Portland with two huge, empty suitcases, fill them up with books from Powell's, Holland's, Cameron's, wherever, and lug them back home.)
