Making a theme car is like giving yourself an automotive version of the Miller Analogies Test (to make an analogy). If your car's theme is a Tijuana Brass album, you're essentially asking for Tijuana Brass equivalents of everyday automotive components. For example, what would the hubcaps be? Albums, of course. Or, as Miller might express it, given TJB car, then wheel cover = album.

I couldn't name this car Bruno. Not with that photo all over it. It's ended up with several names. WhippedCreamMobile, Delores (after the cover model), Thunder Kiss '65.

In the end, I settled upon Whip It!

Because I've affixed the albums in a diagonal pattern, Burford suggests the name "Argyle." "Makes sense," I said, "because I'm part Scottish. Wait--there's actually a connection here! What oldie was made famous by a group called `The Argyles'? `Alley Oop.' And who produced this record? None other than Herb Friggin' Alpert. Yep."

Nah. I like Whip It! better.
