Autographed copies of Adventures with the Mojave Phone Booth are now available!
After we left the booth, we backtracked southward through the Mojave, through Kelso Depot to I-40 to Needles, where we'd left the RV at West Point Auto.
Wagner watches das werke.
The funny thing is that West Point Auto had been on the itinerary anyhow, because when I was stranded for three days in Needles after my previous Booth visit, the West Point mechanics had left some tools under Whip It!'s hood. Unfortunately, Dean and Dennis weren't at West Point any longer. I left the tools there anyhow.
We reached Tonopah, Nevada late in the evening. I'd wanted to stay at The Clown Motel every time I'd passed it, but events always interfered. This time, no way.
