Gadzooks! The cops are all over me! Seems there's some SJ City Ordnance that says you can't store your or someone elses inoperable vehicle in a residential area over 72 hours! Even in your own back driveway! What a suck law!

This Vehicle Abatement guy showed up at my door today with an official warning, saying I not only have to move WhipIt!, but my non-running '53 International and my non-running '63 Bonneville too!

Yikes!

So, the need to determine WhipIt's future is now urgent! I have to comply by Dec. 13 (move or fix all my vehicles, or risk fines and City towing).

Yikes!

Help! Gimme a call ASAP and let's figger sumpin' out!

Fortunately, Lorne quickly came to the rescue...

Sorry to hear about the problem with WhipIt. The email I saw made me think it is sitting in San Jose. If so, then I have a place it can be stored with no hassles, just in case you are unable to sell it. I live on about 2.5 acres with lots of free parking, about 10 minutes from downtown SJ.

Anyway, good luck, and let me know if I can help.

Ciao
